Senior Electrical Technician

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join our team, taking ownership of electrical systems’ repair, installation, and maintenance. This role requires a hands-on professional who can troubleshoot complex systems, supervise junior staff, coordinate with suppliers, and provide reliable 24/7 on-call support.

What You’ll Do

  • Independently repair, maintain, and install electrical and electronic systems.
  • Test, commission, and optimize industrial machines and building management systems (BMS).
  • Modify and program PLCs, HMIs, frequency inverters, and CNC controllers.
  • Maintain accurate electrical drawings and project documentation.
  • Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support when scheduled.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical power, control systems, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Experience with computer networking, ECAD, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and equipment manufacturers.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Wireman License A and/or B.
  • Valid Maltese driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
